How to Use This Study Tracker
Consistent daily study, QBank practice, revision, and GT (Grand Test) solving are key to succeeding in NEET PG/INICET. This app is designed to help you:
- Log your daily study hours and strive to maintain or improve your performance. (See below for scoring details)
- Use the Subject Tracker to monitor your progress through topics that closely align with Marrow QBanks. Mark what you study, revise, and track how many times you've reviewed each topic.
- Utilize the GT Dashboard to input your Grand Test days, hour scores (NEET pattern scoring), and visualize your progress over time.
- Tailor your study schedule to your needs, but maintain consistency in studying over 12 hours a day, completing daily MCQs, and regular revision. Assess your study habits and log your daily progress in the input field.
NEET PG Preparation Phases:
- Phase One (150 days): Complete initial study (prioritize notes over videos), finish QBank, and create comprehensive notes combining study material and QBank content. Revise on day 1, day 3, and after completing each subject.
- Phase Two (90 days): Conduct your first grand revision, take ample Grand Tests, complete subject-wise tests, and review bookmarked content. Incorporate GT and test explanations into your notes.
- Phase Three (60 days): Focus on integrating all information, continue with Grand Tests, revise bookmarked content thoroughly, and complete a second quick revision (mark your notes for faster review).
- Phase Four (until exam): Take daily Grand Tests and custom modules. Continue reviewing bookmarked content and updating your notes. Conduct a final review of your notes before the exam. At this stage, your notes should be a valuable resource, and if you've followed all steps diligently, you should be well-prepared for a good rank.
Use the Subject Tracker to mark the topics you're studying, and keep track of your study hours using the scoring system below. The scoring system aims to be objective, with a maximum score of 25. Strive to achieve this score daily. You can also compete with study partners by comparing scores. The grades A, B, C, D, and F are self-assessed based on the criteria outlined below.
Score Calculation:
Phase One: Study: 1 point, QBank: 2 points, Revision: 3 points. Each hour studied gives 1 point up to 14 hours. Grade A: 6 points, B: 4 points, C: 2 points, D: 0 points, F: -1 point
Phase Two: Any test: 1 point, Note revision: 2 points, QBank review: 2 points
Phase Three: Note Revision: 1 point, Bookmark Review: 2 points, GT/Custom Module: 2 points
Phase Four: GT1: 1 point, GT2/Custom Module: 2 points, Rapid Revision: 2 points
Grading Criteria:
- Grade A: Exceed 14 hours of study with completion of all three main goals (especially MCQs and revision)
- Grade B: 12+ hours of study with both QBank and revision
- Grade C: 8+ hours of study with either QBank or revision
- Grade D: Minimum 4 hours of study with either QBank or revision
- Grade F: Less than 4 hours of study or failure to complete QBank/revision
